Huge Boost For Bristol Airport As Jet2.com Sets Up New Base

Jet2.com confirms Bristol will become the groups tenth UK base with flights and holidays launching from next spring.



November 12th, 2020 - The leisure airline and package holiday specialist has now put 33 destinations on sale for next summer including four that are exclusive to the new Bristol base - Izmir in Turkey; Kalamata and Lesvos in Greece; and Costa de Almeria in Spain.


In addition, Jet2.com will fly to 11 destinations next winter, including Geneva, Salzburg and Grenoble all serving the winter sports market.


Jet2.com will commence operations at Bristol airport with up to 56 weekly flights and a fleet of three based aircraft serving destinations across Spain, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Portugal and Madeira. The operator currently has 450,000 seats on sale from Bristol.

Heapy explained that the new base was driven by pent up demand from both customers and independent travel agents in the area and they can now finally enjoy 'real package holidays' from Bristol Airport.


The first Jet2.com flight will leave Bristol Airport on April 1st 2021, scheduled for Lanzarote.
