James Villas To Stop Selling Flight-Inclusive Holidays

October 14th, 2020 - Leading UK Vacation rental operator switched to offering accommodation only holidays from October 8th.

A spokesperson from James Villas explained that the accommodation-only model would enable it “to invest even more resource into what it does best: curating a wide range of fantastic villas, combined with award-winning customer service”.

Despite not selling flights the company has confirmed that it renewed its Atol licence. This allows customers who received a Refund Credit Note for a flight-inclusive booking to still book an alternative holiday through the company.

The company also confirmed that any holidays including flights and other extras booked before October 2020 would be subject to the conditions in place at the time of booking. James Villas stated that it eventually aimed to introduce “further ancillary revenues, including flights” through technology partners.

Andreas Nau, managing director, said: “We have over 35 years of experience in the villa market and have an expert team with the knowledge to find and support high-quality villas in great holiday locations."

He went on to state that “Our customers will benefit from an increased portfolio, with more choice when looking for their holiday. We will continue to uphold the same high level of customer service and support that we have provided for many years.”

James Villa Holidays has head offices located in Maidstone, UK. The business operates under the Wyndham Vacation Rentals family of brands within Wyndham Worldwide.
