Luxury tropical hideaway, The Nautilus Maldives, has been recognised amongst the top three best resorts in the world and as the Indian Ocean’s Best Resort in Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards for 2020. The luxury 'VIP' style resort is located in the remote UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of the Baa Atoll and is one of the smallest island resorts in the Maldives. The Nautilus is currently the only Relais & Châteaux member resort in the Maldives.

“We are immensely grateful and proud to be recognised not only as the best resort in the Indian Ocean, but also amongst the top three best resorts in the world. I would like to express my gratitude to all voters, our guests and to our highly committed team as without them we would not be celebrating this amazing achievement. Thank you all!” General manager of The Nautilus, Mohamed Ashraf.

To celebrate the award, the resort has launched a special ‘thank you offer’ that includes complimentary breakfast, dinner and combined return seaplane transfers, as well as a number of additional benefits. The offer is valid for stays of 4 nights or more.

The Nautilus is also running a number of other offers launched to mark the resort's reopening on September 1st. These include 35% discount on accommodation and a selection of The Nautilus’ bespoke experiences as well as a number of other themed offer packages. The offers and packages are valid for travel up until December 22nd, 2020.

The Nautilus state that their cleaning and hygiene protocols have been reinforced in line with both WHO issues public health guidelines and local government authority regulations.
