THIRDHOME Announce Opening Of New EMEA Office in Marbella

Updated: Nov 17, 2020

THIRDHOME, the luxury property and travel club opens its new Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) headquarters in Marbella, Spain.

November 11th, 2020 - THIRDHOME Vice-Presidents for EMEA, Niki Christian Nutsch and Ivo Haagen will lead the regional office bringing their decades of experience in the luxury holiday homes sector. This follows the launching of several new partnerships, including Quinta da Lago in Portugal, Smiling House in Switzerland, Privadia in the Balearic Islands, Croatian Villas Holidays, Premier Cottages in the United Kingdom, San Roque Club in Spain, and YOO Residences globally.

“Our new regional headquarters has international flair and represents five nations speaking six languages, enabling our team to communicate with members in their native language,” said Niki Christian Nutsch. “With increasing demand for home sharing across the region, THIRDHOME's EMEA office will serve as a new base for new and existing members and for establishing close partnerships with holiday home developers, estate agents, and rental companies.”

Ivo Haagen explained that although the company is continually expanding its portfolio of luxury homes, the company focus remains on quality and not on quantity. Haagen points to THIRDHOME's success in the 2020 Conde Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards as evidence of that this policy is working.

THIRDHOME is a travel club for owners of second homes. By taking advantage of unused time in their second homes, owners earn travel credits that allow them to rent other members’ private homes. They have access to immediately reserve stays around the world through personal online accounts for a fraction of usual rental costs.

The current Exchange features almost 11,000 properties all around the world, with an average value of $2.2 million. In 2018, The Club expanded into luxury rentals and one-of-a-kind travel adventures, small-group luxury tours or niche getaways featuring unique itineraries that may be hosted by renowned conservationists, tastemakers, or entertainers.
